First Tea (November 8, 4:00- 6:00 pm)
In our first tea-talk, following Alla’s talk on “Nutrition and Body Based Stress”, James will explore the “art of living well” and introduce some of the hidden SOS aspects for holistic and healthy living. Everyone is encouraged to bring their personal and professional talents and experience to the conversation!
(1) BODY BASED STRESS:
What causes disease ( body, mind, spirit). The four legged stool.
Food and Diet myths ( contradictions and mis-information)

Eating For Health – S.O.U.L food
Feel Good – Feel Bad Foods – the effects of foods on our brain, mood, energy,metabolism

The case of the missing nurtrients: What happens to our body?

Mind Maintains itself in opposites, in opposition, right?
Do Underlying beliefs cause and support ill health and relationships?
Life - the stories we tell ourselves and each other, about it.
We learn by imitation, imagination and conceptual labelling. What’s the role of memory?
The cause of stress is our personal and collective belief in thinking we’re separate – our divorce from reality. Missing Vitamin R7 (Reality)
Our Natural Well-Being (R7) has seven elements: Facts, Beauty, Love, Joy, Harmony, Peace, Grace
(3)CHANGE BASED STRESS:
What happens when change descends upon us – comfort eating, drugs, alcohol etc
Why is it so difficult to change habits?
The Fight versus dealing with reality ( cancer, disease, death, divorce, job loss etc).
To the degree we resist constant change we experience disharmony,disease and suffering?
Life and the living of it is always fresh, here and now only. Perhaps?
What are Living facts?
Being what you are and loving what is.
