are difficult and challenging times for us all. I believe we all need
to feel connected and have venues to talk, be open with our emotions,
and to be able to communicate in an atmosphere of non-judgement and acceptance.
Therapy
is a path of opening doors to new ways of being and facing fears while
being guided and supported. In this process of therapy you engage in your
own life with the presence of someone who can assist you and let you know
that you're not alone.
You
may explore more fully your past as a child, your family of origin and
the beliefs and traumas that keep you blocked and chained to old habits
and ways of reacting, (instead of acting). You may grow and come to
realize your full potential as a human being.
I
bring to my work as a therapist more than 20 years of experience in my
own practice of meditation and yoga and as many years traveling and living
abroad in many rich and varied cultures which has taught me that all human
beings want the same thing -- To Be Happy!

have a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis and specialization
in Body-oriented and Transpersonal Psychotherapies. I am well-versed in
many modalities and techniques. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization &
Reprocessing), focusing, communications dialogue for couples and families,
breath work, art & play therapy. I am also knowledgeable in psychodynamic
therapy and a Certified " Substance Abuse counselor".With
many years of in-depth experience, practice and education, I will assist
you with compassion and understanding on issues of self-esteem, depression,
trauma, childhood abuse, dissociative disorders, addictions and recovery, eating disorders, relationship,
anxiety, chronic pain, communication, and more.I,
happily, see in my office children, adolescents, families, couples and
individuals.My
fees are reasonable, sliding scale is sometimes available,and I accept some insurance and MediCAL.
